Cody Yarbrough - Biography

I recently graduated summa cum laude with honors from University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in English and Film Studies. While at school, I founded the University Film Organization, a student production unit with whom I made many shorts as well as a feature film currently in post-production.

In addition to many other screenwriting and film courses, last spring I took an advanced screenwriting seminar with Larry Ferguson, during which I developed the treatment that led to my first feature screenplay, The Juno Incident, currently available for option. I am writing two other features, on target to be complete by Summer 2008.

Among other hobbies, I am a disciple of the Yin Cheng Gong Fa martial arts family of kung fu practitioners. I am an avid photographer and a skilled sketch artist.  I love to travel. I’m currently learning to ride horses in the european dressage style.

I currently make my home in Vancouver BC, with my wife, Heather Fromson, a dressage instructor. I hail from Eugene, Oregon, where I grew up and attended University.
